Skills
A skill is a behavior you can get on cue, in a place, with a duration. If you cannot name the criterion, you are wishing.
Skills on this site are written as ladders: a starting criterion the dog can already meet, a raise you can see, and a failure mode that tells you to drop criteria instead of repeating louder. “Sit” is not a moral victory. It is a hip on the floor for a counted second, then two, then around a distraction you actually control.
Recall, loose-leash walking, stationing on a bed, and door manners will live here as full protocols. Until those spokes publish, treat crate training as your first duration skill and nipping as your first impulse-control skill. Both are built the same way: short sessions, clear pay-offs, no rehearsal of the opposite.
This is not sport curriculum and it is not an encyclopedia of cues. If a page cannot tell you what to do on Thursday evening in a kitchen, it does not belong in this lab.
